Reading your bill: what is metered, what is flat
AI answering and AI conversations are unlimited. Call minutes and SMS are metered. The number is a flat monthly fee.
Know which line items move with volume and which do not.
- Flat items The number and the subscription are fixed monthly amounts. They do not change with call volume.
- Metered items Call minutes, SMS and any additional lines or extensions are billed by usage. Every unit price is published on the pricing page.
- Balance versus bill The prepaid balance is what the service draws down in real time. The bill is the record of what was drawn down. A top-up is not a charge — it is the balance being refilled.
You can tell, from the billing page alone, whether a change in the total came from volume or from a plan change.
Can I change plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the rest of the cycle; downgrades apply from the next cycle, so you keep everything you already paid for.
